Secure your Moldova airport transfer using practical guidance on reliable arrival information and current booking practices.
We have not yet verified how travellers currently reach Moldova from the airport serving it, so we are not publishing routes, operators or fares we cannot stand behind. For what is running on the day you travel, the arrivals information published by your arrival airport is the reliable source, and your accommodation will usually know what works best for the hour you land.
Helpful Tips
Grab Yandex Go before wheels touch down. The app locks in honest taxi rates across Chișinău and every other city you will roam. No haggling. No surprises. Just tap, ride, and go.
Chișinău's trolleybus lines take contactless bank cards. Board any route marked with a 'T' and tap once. Simple. Fast. Done.
Marshrutka minivans flash route numbers on the windshield. Raise your hand to stop. Hand the driver exact lei. No change given. Count coins first.
Route 30 airport bus links Chișinău International to central Stefan cel Mare boulevard every 30 minutes. Luggage racks inside. Board outside arrivals.
Common Scams to Avoid
Chișinău International Airport. Taxi sharks circle. Some flatly refuse the meter, quoting 200 lei instead of 60. Walk past them. Head straight to the official taxi desk inside the terminal. Pre-book via the airport app. Metered fares only. Simple.
Those neon currency kiosks flash tempting rates. Read the fine print. Hidden commissions bite. Count every lei before you move. ATMs inside the terminal give better value. Skip the kiosk drama.
Unofficial porters pounce at baggage claim. They grab bags fast. Then demand 50 lei for a ten-meter walk. Smile. Say no. Look for the official badge and posted prices. Pay only if the price is clear.
